How to use
Compare a text hash against an expected value. Steps:
- Paste the text to verify in the Text content box.
- Paste the official hash into the Expected hash value box.
- Pick the algorithm (SHA-256/1/MD5) and click Compare.
Tip: leaving the expected value empty still shows the actual hash so you can record it first. Comparison is case-insensitive as it lowercases input.
